I’m no gardener, I’m not even terribly interested in gardening, although I seem to be writing about it a bit lately – homegrown veggies & natural mozzie repellents. So when we needed a hedge to cover the front of our house and block it from the main road, I had one brief…zero maintenance.
Well, almost 2 years on from when we first planted this Sweet Viburnum hedge I’m pleased to say it’s been perfect! The sweet viburnum trees totally block the house from the road and I’ve done absolutely nothing to help them grow. In fact they are growing so well all on their own I’m actually thinking we might need to start trimming them back. I guess that would mean they haven’t been totally maintenance free then…..hmmmm.
